Doesnt take advantage of iPhone/iPad graphics
The sentiments voiced in this app can be helpful, but if you subscribe to Ricks JOTs, you get them in email anyway. This is essentially a text only (and very wordy) application that takes no advantage whatever of the graphics capabilities of the iPhone/iPad. The most graphical thing about it is the icon of the Buddha you use to enter the application. After that, its just strings of text and menus of the kind you might see on a PC. Especially for $4.99, I would expect a better iPhone app. Contrast for example the Abraham card decks on the iPhone, which in my opinion offer an example of motivational sayings for the iPhone done in a way that has nice graphics and takes advantage of the iPhone touch screen.
